Mark your calendars! Amicus, Time Matters, ProLaw and PracticeMaster will be put to the ultimate test in “IRON TECH 2007”, a side by side comparison of each software at the 2007 Minnesota Strategic Solutions for Solo and Small Firms Convention.  Software representatives will be “grilled” – talk about performance under pressure – by the “Tech Director” and you the audience, who will choose the tasks to be performed and compared. The convention is August 6 and 7, 2007, and is being held at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center in Duluth, MN.  De Etta will be one of the crew manning the Software Technology, Inc. (STI) booth, so be sure to stop by and say “Hi!”

WOW!  Does LDM&T support great products or what??!!  We are happy to share the news that Tabs3 and PracticeMaster and WORLDOX were all big winners at the recent Law Technology News (LTN) Awards Banquet.  For the fourth consecutive year, Tabs3 won the LTN Award for Time and Billing Software for Firms with Fewer Than 50 Attorneys.  Not to be out done, PracticeMaster won the Award for Practice Management Software for Firms with Fewer Than 50 Attorneys and the Award for Calendaring and Docketing Software.  Previously, PracticeMaster had only been a finalist for these awards, so we are especially thrilled about this year’s wins.  Tabs3 also was one of three finalists for Billing Software for Firms with More Than 50 Attorneys, and Tabs3 Version 14 was one of three finalists for the Product of the Year Award.  WORLDOX maintained their winning position as well and are once again winners of the Document Management category.      Congratulations to all!

Tabs3 - Version 14:  Version 14 updates have gone out to all of you on maintenance and we’ve been busy helping with pre-conversion reports, conversion of data, and training as needed.  This was a bigger upgrade than many realized, but what awesome changes!!   Hope all of you are enjoying the benefits.  For those of you who have not yet upgraded, here's an IMPORTANT REMINDER :  Because the receipt allocation program has been completely redesigned, this update will also require a data conversion process.  STI is strongly recommending that you work with your local reseller through this conversion and, that said, there is some preparation needed. Please contact us PRIOR TO installing your new version.
